Article by TBHC News Staff Published July 20, 2023 CEDAR KEY, Fla. — As the sun rose on a humid, summer Wednesday morning in July, The Black Hats Collective dropped our hooks in the water off the pier for a nice day of fishing. TBHC hosted its Fishing With The Hats event on July 19 at Cedar Key, FL to enjoy the company of members and friends. The cool morning breeze disappeared as the sun’s rays peaked late morning and early afternoon. Umbrellas and lawn chairs were open as people enjoyed seeing the fish tug the lines on the fishing poles. Attendees were taught which bait to use, how to cast a fishing line, and how to reel in a fish. Many people reeled in catfishes and threw them back in the water. The organization enjoyed the company of attendees and look forward to our next fishing trip. Special thanks to the Sliick crew for stopping by to spend a day of fishing with us.
