Sliick Garden, The Black Hats Collective, Nathan Ross Inc., Krown LVL ENT. hosted the For The Culture Fashion Show at Fame of Fadez located at 201 SE Second Pl Suite 109 in Gainesville, Fl on Fri. June 16. Models wore brands from Sliick, The Black Hats Collective, Shirt Crackk by Kha Klo and more. The models wore beautiful and unique jewelry pieces along with their clothing as they rip the runway showcasing black-owned brands. The rappers who performed during the fashion show were Fakksonly, Soul (also known as Soul Da One), and Nate Turner. The festivities continued to Freedom Fest at Bo Diddley Plaza on Saturday and it concluded with the Sankofa unveiling ceremony honoring the late Dr. Patricia Hilliard-Nunn at the Alachua County Administration Building on Monday. Hilliard-Nunn was a historian and community activist in Alachua County.
